My baby has recently become quite the expert dribbler and no matter how often we change his bib, his little chin and sometimes neck can become damp and sore: the nappy balm is such a wonderful gentle healing cream and owing to the oils it is also quite effective as a barrier cream too - at both ends!

Organic Cotton Textiles 

GOTS logoWe currently source our certified organic cotton from organic cotton suppliers in South India, and also Europe, with whom we work very closely to produce our baby and toddler fashion, our natural organic baby cot bedding, and organic baby towels and robes. 

When it is available, we use certified Fairtrade cotton (and have a new woodland range ready for Winter 2010), and when it is not available we are nevertheless confident that our cotton is fairly traded (meaning that farmers are paid a reasonable and normally premium price for their cotton, and are not exploited in the process). All of our cotton from both suppliers is certified organic by GOTS the Global Organic Textile Standard.

GOTS is a leading campaigning and certification organisation that has been working to promote sustainable organic farming since it evolved in 2002.

The International Working Group on Global Organic Textile Standard is comprised of four reputed member organisations, namely OTA (USA), IVN (Germany), Soil Association (UK) and JOCA (Japan), which contribute to the GOTS, together with further international stakeholder organizations and experts, their respective expertise in organic farming and environmentally and socially responsible textile processing.

Wherever you see the GOTS logo, you can be sure that what you are purchasing has been produced and processed to the strictest environmental and animal welfare standards.
